Paul Schabacker

Paul Schabacker graduated Magna Cum Laude from Birmingham-Southern College in 1989 with a business/finance degree and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board honorary societies. He completed an undergraduate degree equivalency in accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1996 and passed the CPA exam.
Paul began his career at Jefferson Federal Savings and Loan Association in 1989, then worked at First Commercial Bank from 1991 to 2004 in roles including Private Banking Officer, Commercial Loan Officer, Commercial Lending Group Manager, and Senior Vice President and head of commercial real estate lending. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and was a founding Executive Officer of ServisFirst Bank (NYSE: SFBS), a $17 billion multi-state banking company.
He has served in leadership roles with various nonprofits and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity and Metro Alabama Crime Stoppers. Paul and his wife Mary have three daughters and live in Homewood, Alabama.
